Sponsor a Student

Donors can make personal tax deductible contributions which can be directed to a specific band or guard member. Non-directed gifts will be used to provide financial assistance to deserving students. Giving levels begin at $25 and range all the way up to sponsoring a band or color guard member for the whole season. To sponsor a JD Band or Color Guard student please click here to visit our "Give Now" page, choose "JD Program/Project" under donation category and type "Band Student Sponsor: [Name of Student]" in the other donation category field. If making a non-directed gift please type "non-directed" instead of a student's name. The cost of a single student's fees for the 2015 marching season is approximately $350.

About Juan Diego Catholic High School

The mission of Juan Diego Catholic High School is is to serve God by providing a challenging academic education, rooted in Catholic values and morals in developing the whole person. Juan Diego Catholic High School, and Saint John the Baptist Catholic Elementary & Middle Schools, and Guardian Angel Daycare are co-educational schools under the Skaggs  Catholic Center LLC. Directed by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salt Lake City, the Skaggs Catholic Center is a private, non-profit organization with federally authorized 501(c)(3) charitable status. The schools opened in 1999 on the 57-acre campus, and enroll more than 2000 children from infancy through the 12th grade each year. Sam and Aline Skaggs made a most generous gift of the property and buildings with the stipulation that the schools be self-sustaining and never turn away students for lack of ability to pay tuition – regardless of race or religion. Since inception, the schools have provided tuition assistance to hundreds of families in need each year. A church was later built by its congregation on the property, but operates separately from the Skaggs Catholic Center, LLC.

Juan Diego enrolls 800+ 9-12th but also internationally. Saint John the Baptist Elementary enrolls 570 in grades Pre-K through 5th grade, and the Middle school enrolls 390 in grades 6-8.
